Construction has begun on a world class Mall and Entertainment Complex in Mahaica. The mega project is being undertaken by the Ramlochan Family of Chris Auto Sales and Spares.
A press release about the project indicated that in addition to being a boost to the local tourism sector, the project will significantly enhance the architectural landscape of the Mahaica community.
“This entertainment facility will include an escape room and laser tags, arcade and carnival machines, virtual spaces, 7D-12D virtual simulator rides, multiple saft playgrounds for children, a fast-food restaurant, a gift ship, a few party rooms and many more.’
Moreover, the project which is being financed by Demerara Bank Ltd will also include office spaces, a modern rooftop restaurant, fine dining restaurants, retail spaces, a 50,000 square feet indoor entertainment facility, a food court, lounge etc.
The project’s developer Mr Ramlochan who was born and raised in Mahaica is well known in the Canadian Real Estate Market as a prominent developer with several properties in Toronto. The release indicated that Mr Ramlochan values the opportunity to bring a world class mall and entertainment complex to the Mahaica community. “This is my home from where it all started and i never want to forget that.”
