The first phase of this project, which includes the construction of 150 rooms, is now ongoing and is expected to be completed in 2024. According to Lalit Sharma, Blue Bridge Inc’s project director, the second phase, which includes 350 rooms, should be completed by the end of 2025. According to Sharma, the hotel will be a prominent part of the Georgetown skyline while simultaneously providing rooms for 1000 guests. After the hotel is finished, at least 800 direct jobs and 1500 indirect jobs will be available.

The director of Blue Bridge Assets urged attendees of the sod-turning event to take advantage of the government’s GOAL scholarship program, which enables students to get a degree in the hospitality industry, citing a critical shortage of competent workers.
