President Dr. Irfaan Ali and some ministers of his cabinet were yesterday exposed to a new educational learning application called ‘Arrow Ed’ produced by Seven Media.
Arrow Ed, designed by a collection of students from Region Six, aims to serve as a medium for lessons from the primary and secondary school curricula. This group of youth developers explained its functions, featured elements, and some of its advantages. This program is intended to be accessible offline and comes with textbooks, learning sessions, syllabuses, and assessments for pupils in grades 1–11 across numerous academic disciplines, already preloaded.
Following their presentation, President Ali promised that his administration would endorse any further growth of the application. This venture was birthed by students from Lower Corentyne Secondary and New Amsterdam Secondary in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sport to develop Arrow Ed.
This venture is in keeping with the Ministry of Education’s mandate to “ensuring that all citizens of Guyana, regardless of age, race, gender, creed, physical or mental disability, or socio-economic status are given the best possible opportunity to achieve their full potential.” which is being accomplished through providing all students with equal access to high-quality education, as defined by the Ministry’s standards and guidelines.
