Ministry of Education announces rehabilitation project for Saint Stanislaus College

The Government of Guyana, through the Ministry of Education (MOE), has invited bids for the rehabilitation and construction of Saint Stanislaus College. The project is funded by the World Bank through the Guyana Strengthening Human Capital through Education Project.

The project aims to improve the learning environment for students at Saint Stanislaus College. The scope of works includes, but is not limited to:

  • Renovation of existing classrooms and buildings
  • Construction of new classrooms and facilities
  • Upgrading of water and sanitation systems
  • Electrical upgrades

The bidding will be conducted through international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers Fifth Edition September 2023.”

Interested bidders can obtain bidding documents by submitting a written letter via email to the Ministry of Education. Bids must be delivered to the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board by July 23, 2024.

“This project is a significant investment in education in Guyana. “The rehabilitation of Saint Stanislaus College will provide students with a modern and improved learning environment.”

The project is expected to benefit students at Saint Stanislaus College by providing them with a better learning environment. The rehabilitation of Saint Stanislaus College will improve the quality of education for students in Georgetown.
