Massy Stores Supermarket opened its doors at the Giftland Mall today and customers are being promised excellence in the quality of items sold in the supermarket and great customer service.
The manager of Massy Stores Giftland stated that the opening today does not just “signify the birth of another store but is a promise to serve the community with dedication, integrity, and passion.”
Minister of Labour, Joseph Hamilton in his remarks at the opening said that Massy’s decision to invest in its sixth store is testimony to Guyana’s robust economy as businesses do not invest where they cannot make money. The Labour Minister also posited that beyond what can be found on the shelves of the supermarket; the opening of the new location is significant because of the employment opportunities that it brings
Meanwhile, Giftland’s CEO Mr. Devindra Deonarine stated that the addition of the Massy Stores to the Giftland Mall is a testament to the Giftland Mall’s innovation, continued growth, and prosperity.
Massy Stores has taken over the FoodMaxx Supermarket which was operating in that location for six years. Nevertheless, Massy promises customers a seamless transition, high-quality fresh produce, international brands, specialty items, and excellent customer service.
