Jamaican Investment Minister Aubyn Hill is currently in Guyana spearheading his third official business mission. The aim of the business mission is to fortify trade relations with Guyana while simultaneously expanding business opportunities for the participants.
The trade mission comprises over 40 small and large scale Jamaican businesses spanning across several sectors such as the manufacturing, agro-processing, mining, agri business and technology sectors.
During their stay in Guyana, members of the delegation will engage in several ministerial and business to business meetings with the private sector in Guyana with the aim of exploring collaborative ventures and business prospects in the various sectors.
Speaking to the delegation, Dr Asni Singh, Senior Minister in the Office of the President with Responsibility for Finance and the Public Services encouraged the “Jamaican companies to explore Guyana’s thriving business environment.”
The trade mission which commenced on May 12 will wrap the Guyana leg on May 18 before heading to Suriname.
