Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry ushers in new leadership

The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry is ushering in a new chapter with the election of its Executive Management Committee (EMC) for the 2024/2025 period. The EMC members were announced at the first Statutory Council Meeting which followed the 134th Annual General Meeting. The newly elected committee will play an integral role in ensuring that the chamber meets its objective. 

The newly elected EMC comprises Mr. Kester Hutson, Mrs. Kathy Smith, Mr. Brian Edwards, Mr. Gavin Ramsoondar and Mr. Melisa McRae-George. 

Mr Kester Hutson was reelected as President while Mrs. Kathy Smith, Brian Edwards, Mr. Gavin Ramsoondar and Mr. Melisa McRae-George will serve in the capacity of Senior Vice- President, Treasurer, Junior Vice President and Secretary respectively. The committee is said to represent a diverse cross section of the local business community.
