On January 31, fifty persons were invited to identify their house lots in Block 11, Golden Grove, East Bank Demerara. These persons have access to their land to commence home construction.
This exercise is expected to continue, under the supervision of the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA).
A few days ago on January 28, sixty-seven persons were allocated residential lots in Lethem, Region Nine.
The land distribution exercise was facilitated by the Land Administration Department of the CH&PA, and attended by Minister of Housing and Water, Collin Croal.
In a release by the Housing agency, it was stated that the sixty-seven residents were allocated lots in Tract CHPA, Shouting Scheme.
