The Honorable Priya Manickchand, Minister of Education, will serve on the board of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) for the next two years.
The GPE is a leading organization that aims to effect inclusive and equitable education for all across the globe, ensuring every boy and girl can have hope, opportunity, and agency. It is the only such fund solely dedicated to education.
Through partnership, the GPE involves all cohorts invested in education, with representation from more than sixty developing countries, donors, international organizations, civil society, teacher organizations, the private sector, and foundations.
The Minister of Education will serve as an alternate member Board member of the Global Partnership for Education from January 2024 to December 2026.
