Banks DIH projects that they will open their six-story parking lot at Riverview, Ruimveldt, Georgetown by April 2024, after roughly 5 years of construction.

This was shared by the company’s Chairman, Clifford Reis at their 68th Annual General Meeting, which was attended by several shareholders.

The facility is expected to accommodate 400 vehicles, with 80 vehicles being assigned to each 35,000 square feet level. The building will also house an assortment of related businesses, with the first five levels being used for employee parking.

The ground floor will accommodate an automotive dealership, offering products through a partnership between Banks Auto Motive Services Inc. and Daikin Global, a global leader in air conditioning.

As such, motor vehicles, cycles, vehicle tires and air conditioning systems will be displayed on the base floor.

Additionally, a “state of the art” restaurant will be set up on the sixth floor, which can accommodate 300 persons, and can cater for large social events.

Earlier in the month, the company registered a net profit of $8.97 billion for 2023, which was 6% higher than that of the previous year. This was disclosed in the 2023 Annual Report
