A 35-year-old miner was arrested at a police roadblock at a #70km checkpoint on Friday for having 83.3 grams of Marijuana. The cannabis was discovered in two Pringles cans in a haversack being carried by Randolph Ganesh of Moruca Northwest District.
The suspect admitted ownership of the cannabis and told police that he “bought it for his personal use.”
Ganesh was placed in custody and is expected to be charged.
