The Guyana Police Force’s Traffic Department is reporting that there has been a total of 2,465 cases made as a result of traffic offenses for the period November 19-25, 2023. Notably, of the 2,465 cases, 658 cases were as a result of drivers exceeding the speed limit while 23 were as a result of persons Driving Under the Influence (DUI).
Regional Division 4’C’ led the way for the most cases made for the period with a total of seven hundred and fifty-five (755) cases and 458 cases being recorded in a single day.
