The National Drainage and Irrigation Authority (NDIA) of Guyana is inviting bids for the supply and delivery of one (1) new amphibious excavator. This specialized equipment is crucial for the NDIA’s maintenance and rehabilitation projects in remote and waterlogged areas.
Bidding Process:
- The bidding process will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as outlined in Guyana’s Procurement Act of 2003.
Obtaining Bidding Documents:
- Interested bidders can obtain bidding documents from the Procurement Office, National Drainage and Irrigation Authority during normal working hours. A non-refundable fee of GYD$3,000 must be paid for each bid document.
Submission of Bids:
- Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes with “Tender for Supply and Delivery of One (1) New Amphibious Excavator for the National Drainage and Irrigation Authority” clearly marked on the top left corner. No identification of the bidder should be included on the envelope.
- Bids must be addressed to the Chairman of the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board at the Ministry of Finance.
- The deadline for submitting bids is Thursday, June 27th, 2024, at 9:00 AM. Bids will be opened in the presence of attending representatives at the Ministry of Finance.
