The Guyana Office for Investment today held a networking event in Houston, Texas, where senior officials engaged with the Guyanese Diaspora. The event was held at the Crystal Ballroom in the Rice Tower and had as its primary objective the fostering and building of stronger connection with the diaspora and a discussion on investment opportunities.
According to a statement on the Guyana Office for Investment Facebook page, the highlight of the event was a panel discussion titled “Bridging Oceans: Guyana’s New Horizon,” which featured Guyana’s Foreign Secretary, Robert Persaud, and ExxonMobil Guyana President Alistair Routledge.
The networking event was made possible through collaboration between the Greater Houston Partnership, the Guyana Business Journal, and the Guyana Office for Investment. The goal of the networking event was to facilitate dialogue, promote investment, and strengthen ties between Guyana and the international community.
