The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) met with the executives of the Guyana Association of Travel Agents on Monday April 15, 2024.
Among the issues addressed during the meeting was the need for “support for critical issues regarding airline operations in Guyana and to ensure that the interests and concerns of travel agencies are considered and addressed.”
The GATA, which is not yet a member of the GCCI, is interested in membership and plans to use the support garnered from membership to engage the relevant agencies to address issues affecting travel agents countrywide.
Adrina Singh and Luana Falconer of Frandec Travel who are President and Vice President of the association represented the GATA at the meeting.
