The Ministry of Housing this morning met with the Technical Staff of the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA) to discuss the housing agenda for 2024 as well as the approach to be utilised to ensure that objectives are met.
The Central Housing and Planning Authority plays an integral role in ensuring that majors projects are executed. Among the major projects that the body is responsible for ensuring they are executing are the construction of the turn- key homes and four lane highways as well as “infrastructure development in housing schemes, overseeing the construction of access roads, bridges, culverts and electrical works.
Present at today’s meeting were Minister of Housing Collin Croal, Minister within the Ministry of Housing Susan Rodrigues, Deputy Director of Projects Mr Intakab Indarjeet as well as the CH&PA CEO Sherwyn Greaves and Permanent Secretary Bishram Kuppen.
The Housing Sector was allocated 78 billion dollars for the development of Housing infrastructure countrywide in the 2024 National Budget.
