A fatal incident on Evergreen Public Road, Essequibo Coast, claimed the life of 29-year-old Kenford Stephens of Dartmouth Village.
Inquiries revealed that around 21:54hrs on Thursday, the deceased was riding his motorcycle along the Evergreen Public Road at a fast rate, while his friends were riding ahead of him on their own motorcycles.
It is alleged that Stephens, who was some distance away from them and was lying on his motorcycle, suddenly started toppling.
After toppling several times, his friends observed him lying motionless on the road surface and approached him.
Stephen was subsequently picked up and transported to the Charity Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The body rests at the Charity Funeral Parlour, awaiting a postmortem examination.
The Guyana Police Force Regional Division No. 2 is currently investigating the incident.
